Three things usually contribute to this:

The air (lint) filter not clean of fluff. (Is the air still blowing strong from the air vent (front or rear)?)
A faulty heating element.
A faulty thermostat

Hi i have a hotpoint tcm condenser dryer and dosnt seem to dry my clothes anymore?

You need to clean all the fluff out of the dryer, the heat exchanger gets fluffed up, the fan gets fluffed up.I am assuming that the dryer is getting hot?

I have a Maytag Gas Dryer Model# MDG508DAWW. It comes on and tumbles but won't heat up. I bumped the back of it with my hand and it came on and got hot then a few minutes later it started getting cold...

This is usually the dryer coils have failed. They tend to fail as they heat up. They are inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a link that should help Replacing the dryer coils

The dryer takes three hours to dry a large load. It is almost one year old and it seems to take longer than it used to and the clothes don't actually get that hot anymore

is your dryer getting hot if so disconnect your dryer vent and run a normal load and if it drys that load in a normal ammount of time it is your vent pipe in the wall clogged

My maytag clothes dryer does not get hot anymore.

is this an electric dryer? if I had the model number, around the hole where you put the clothes in, I could tell you better if this is something you can do yourself. it may not be the heater, it could be a thermal fuse cutout giving you trouble. let me know.

Dryer turn on, heats up but doesn't get hot

I just had the same problem with my electric dryer. Check your exhaust vent (dirty/clogged). I have seen brushes designed for cleaning the vents at many hardware stores. I replaced mine because it was pretty bad (it's was over 10yrs old). Hope this helps.

Dryer wont turn inside but gets hot and turns on

If it's not turning at all, the belt is probably broken. If it turns a little and then stops, the belt is slipping. In either case, the belt needs to be replaced.
