Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
I purchased an acer aspire 5100-3959 used and i can access the xp operating system but i cannot access the bios setting because the original owner has a password enabled. my only reason to have the bios password cleared is so i can perform a system restore and return the computer to original factory settings.
I cannot remove the cmos battery as it is sautered onto the mother board and will break if tampered with. can someone plz help me? to remove bios password
Short the battery hold a piece of wire on to the positive and the other on the negative for about 10 seconds this should short the battery it does no damage to any thing else.
