Just had an oil change in my Lincoln Aviator and it still shows Oil Change Required

After an oil change you have to reset the sensor. Your mechanic should have known this. You turn the key on and push button for three seconds to reset it. This should be in the fuse box under the hood goodluck. I hope this helps

turn key to on but do not start. pump gas peddle 3 times real fast. this should reset the message

I have a 2003 lincoln Aviator I recently just change my oil and put in Synthetic oli well on on the gauge a message came up saying "oil change is required' can someone solve this problem for me

1.press the setup control to enter system check then press setup control to display "oil life =***% hold reset = new.

2.press and hold the reset control for 2 seconds and release. "oil life is set to 100%" is displayed,

3.If lower oil life is desired, press and release the reset control to reduce the value.

It has to be reset each time you have your oil changed.
