To reset CHANGE OIL SOON/OIL CHANGE REQUIRED message on the Message Center, press the STATUS control to access the System Check mode. Press the RESET button to display OIL LIFE _% RESET FOR NEW. Press and hold the RESET button until OIL LIFE IS 100% is displayed.

When "CHANGE OIL SOON" or "OIL CHANGE REQUIRED" is displayed on the Message Center, turn the ignition on. Press and hold "OIL CHANGE RESET' or the "RESET" button until "OIL LIFE RESET TO 100%" is displayed on the Message Center.

When "SERVICE" is illuminated, on the Message Center, press the "SYSTEM CHECK" button on the right of the display. Then press the "RESET" button. The "SERVICE" symbol and mileage will start to flash. Next, press the "SYSTEM CHECK" and "RESET" buttons at the same time. The display will show "7,200 miles/11,580 km" and will count down from there as long as the buttons are depressed. Release the buttons at the desired service interval.

Next, press the "CHECK OUT" button and "RESET" buttons at the same time. The display will show "7,200 miles/11,580 km" and will count down from there as long as the buttons are depressed. Release the buttons at the desired service interval.
After an oil change you have to reset the sensor. Your mechanic should have known this. You turn the key on and push button for three seconds to reset it. This should be in the fuse box under the hood goodluck. I hope this helps

It has to be reset each time you have your oil changed.
To reset it press the status control button on message center to access the system check function. Then press reset to reset oil % the press and hold reset control to set it to 100%
