Assuming your radio is the original for this vehicle you simply take your vehicle ownership and registration papers to the workshop of your car manufacturer and they can get the code from the Ford computer network on the spot.

If the code does not work then it means that this radio is not the original for your car as it would have been replaced with them radio model.
If your radio is an after vehicle purchase, you may need to contact the radio manufacturer.
Or get their contact details through your local car audio dealer.

My car is Acura TL S-Type 2002. We took out the battery for replacement. When I tried to punch-in the radio code, it doesn't take it. ErrE comes everytime I tried.

now iam not sure here but i have had this before and its where someone has had the radio code and then changed it to either something simple like 1111 or whatever so they could remember the code or some dear sweet child has been left in the car unattended and decided they were bored and changed the code .I think the dealer may be able to recode it for you or send it away and have it done or just renew it with a aftermarket one and make sure it can play sd card and usb stick then you dont need lots of CDs in the car

I recently purchased model vrvd640g and it continually blow fuses. my installer says the power supply is defective. can you help or replace the unit?

the problem can be solved my unit blew the fuses on the harness and actually melted the plastic that held the in line fuses in so i went to pep-boys and bought 3 hevy duity in-line fuses and cut and spliced them into the harness removing the 3 original factory in-line fuses and i never had that problem again and also for the cars radio fuse i replaced it with a higher amp fuse so i took out the 1amp red fuse and replaced it with a white 25 amp fuse or u can use a green 30 amp fusethey are all the same size they just dont blow with the new power load of the radio.

I took out the stock tape radio in my saturn and put in a diffrent radio the lights would come on but the car would not start

First check the ignition fuse and, or, all fuses; if all fuses are good;
Remove all the radio wires and, uninstall the radio.
If the car then starts; correctly re-install your radio.

Fuse blew and replaced, now sounds bad, what happened?

Fuse is blown because you may have bad DC to DC converter circuit (step up circuit from 12vdc to provide +-/- 30~40vdc) that supplys the power amp section. I can be that the output stage of the amp shorted out and it took out the DC to DC converter circuit.

Amp keeps blowing fuse

I have this same problem. You have blown the internal amp. I have had 2 of these do the same thing. There is nothing you can do but report it to infinity and try to get the unit replaced.
