I had a similiar problem with a dell netbook. I had to boot up in safe mode, create a new account, then delete the account that would not take my password. That seemed to work. Couldn't tell you why the password was failing in the first place though.

If you are speaking about the SYNET07526, You probably need to reset your WiFi router and choose a new password as the netbook for some reason will not access your existing password. I know this as I spent a couple of hours trying to access my network, but could not until I reset my router and chose a new password. Then the netbook found the connection and I had to enter the new password into the screen. I think the netbook is optimized for an open network, until you force the issue by resetting your router.
