Malfunction! I've had my LX for a couple months now, and I love it. But a few days ago it froze up. I completely freaked out and turned it off, then restarted it, but it wouldnt turn back on. A few hours later I just took out the battery and then it worked fine. Today I was using it and I was wondering why my friends werent texting me back and I realized it was my phone. It said emergency calls only. I paid my bill and all of that, so I don't know why its acting like this. I cant find a solution online anywhere, and I don't have another phone to use to call customer service. Does anyone have a solution? :(

    i have the same problem, i called customer service and they couldn't help me. :( i have a feeling that if i get a new sim card they will transfer what ever is wrong over to the new sim card. im not sure though. if anyone has any solutions to actually make the sim card work again, please let me know.

Sounds like your simcard isn't making good contact. try removing it and cleaning contacts. if that doesn't work go to menu-settings-network options (near bottom) and make surre it is on your service provider. if not select scan manually and when it pulls the list up select your provider and it should work. this also works with the att simcard in a sidekick lx after you change your sim pin number in sim center.

I have a 1988 ford 4610 and my steering is completely froze it sat up for 4 months and now you can not turn the steering at all the steering wheel is froze in place the steering was fine before siting
A shaft bearing may have frozen/rusted in place . Soak them with penetrating oil for a few days .

Check the plug is completely plugged into the motor. Maybe a bad connection in the motor itself. Also check the switch, try wiggling it when turning on.
