Question about Compaq Armada M700 Notebook
My usb adapter works okay unless i go to my game room to play online, then i lose signal. Is it just too cheap, i did get it off ebay for three dollars, and i need a better one.....or should i get a pc card adapter. my laptop is a compaq armada
You can get a wireless USB or a wireelss PC card for your laptop that has a good performance like from those well known manufacturer like Linksys, Netgear and Dlink, If you like you can check this devices that you can use this are from LInksys it work fine for me , WUSB54G and WPC54G they work great....

if it's going offline, then it's losing the signal, or is recieving a low signal, it should be at 54mbps but when it gets below around 24mbps, it will disconnect and look for a stronger connection in your area, or disconnect from the net altogether.
Put your router in a higher and better line of sight to your adapter, walls and floors can block the signal and check that it's not your router that is losing the connection.
