If you have the network enabled 1022 you need to find out it's current IP address. To do this press & hold the Go button on the top of the printer (the large button) for 5 - 10 seconds or until the printer starts to print. This prints out the configuration page.
The printer is set to get an IP address via DHCP from the factory, but once you have it's IP address you need to give it a static IP address. You can do this by typing the IP address into a web browser & go to the network tab. choose an IP address that has not been allocated already & apply the changes.
You will need to type the new IP address into the browser if you want access to change further settings.
You can then add the printer using the new static IP address.

How to connect hp pavilion to brother mfc9560cdw without router

This model Bother printer has a 10baseT LAN connection and can be connected to your LAN network and to your HP laptop via the wireless router. Connect a LAN cable from the printer to the wireless router.
To print from your HP laptop, check the IP address range your wireless router issues to your wireless network, it maybe 192.168.1.*** then configure the brother printer with a fixed IP address with the same IP address range but higher address eg. 192.168.1.10 so it does not clash with any other IP addresses.
Next install the Brother printer driver normally.
Then configure the Brother printer Properties.
Click Start - Printers and faxes - right click on the Brother printer - click Properties - Port tab - click Add Port - Standard TCP/IP port -
Port Name eg. 192.168.1.10
Printer name eg Brother
Click OK
Then do a TEST print if it does not work then the IP address is probably incorrect.

Dell 5100cn change ip address

Changing Printer's IP Address isn't that complicated. There are two ways on how to change the printer's IP Address.

If you know the old printer's IP address, you can simply type that old IP address on the Address Bar of your Internet Explorer or any other browser (ex: http://192.168.1.101). It should redirect you to the printer's User Interface. From there you can go to Network then TCP/IP settings. You can change the IP address of the printer. Make sure to use an IP address within the same range of your network.

The other way to change the printer's IP address is by its own Menu/Settings on the printer's LCD panel.
On your printer, press Menu then got Settings. Look for Network or LAN settings and click on Advance. Select TCP/IP and click on Edit. You can now change the IP address of the printer from there. Click on Done or Save after that.

Note: Make sure the use the correct IP address within the network's range.

HI I am trying to connect my printer via a router

You need to plug your comuter into one of the LAN Port and the Copier into another LAN port your Modem into toyr WAN port. Then you will need the IP of the router it should com along with the router Info and either be 192.168.000.1 or 192.168.0.1. add an ip spec range Isusualle use 192.168.000.120 this goes into your copier under network protacals in user tools. under the same area setup sub net mask 255.255.255.0 if you have already installed you Ricoh AP3800 Driver place the ip 192.168.000.120 again the 3rd set of numbers either .000 or .001 depending on your router. SO under start menu go to either printer and faxes or control panel right click on printer icon for ricoh AP3800 go to properties select the ports tab, Click add Port select Standared TCP ip Clickm the new port. Click next Add your IP adress for the Copier here. Click next Next window will have Generic network card so press NEXT and then Finished Close printer ports window and then click apply. I have a sharp 5316 and also have a driver How to i get the print out through lan

Lan settings! share the printer! or you may install the driver on each pc and give a tcp/ip adress to the printer! In first case you can print from the lan only if the server/ the computer on wich you put the driver is on, in the second case eeach computer connects directly to the printer!

Configuration of LAN fax

The best solution I use is Smart Net Monitor, which is supplied with the Ricoh disks or can be downloaded from www.ricoh-usa.com . First you need to install the lan fax driver, after that then install Smartnet Monitor.

From there click start, and then control panel, then printers and faxes, then right click on the Ricoh LAN fax driver, from there click properties, click ports, then click add a port, under available ports you will see smartnet port (highlite) and then select new port, a new box will come up and then select search, the software will then make the connection and add the port. Besure to click ok and apply and then you are connected
