Problem for Sony Handycam DCR-TRV355 Digital-8 Digital Camcorder
Toshiba satellite laptop problems
I have a Toshiba M30X-107 laptop with the Supermultidrive but cannot
burn anything to disk. I'm trying to use Infiniti CD-Rs to burn
photos/music but everytime I try to burn to disc the computer shows
there has been an error. In the properties for the D-drive i've changed
it to enable cd recording but in the general tab it shows RAW for file
system (can this be changed?) Am I just being stupid or do I need to
buy/download some specialist software (i've tried Nero 6 but get the
same problem)?
If anybody has any ideas I'll be grateful.

Try another burn simply to generate errors. After the error, go to
(assuming WinXP) Administrative Tools\Event Viewer, review the logs, and
post the error(s) about the drive that you see there.
If using Nero, etc., turn off the native Windows CD burning service; see
if that helps. Select the drive in My Computer, right-click, select
Properties, Recording tab, and uncheck Enable CD recording...
