Jvc stereo receiver CA-HXD7

No power
RP206 open the resistor is burned, I don't have the schematic
i can't read the color code.Can any body help me
find the right value of it. Please

RP206 = 100 ohm 5% 1watt ( also check PQ105 : 2SA1273 PNP transistor )

Need info on wire color coding for jvc car cd player: JVC KD-G140

Try going to the crutchfield website and look for help installing stereo. they can get you vehicle specific wiring codes for free. Also, almost everey stereo has common color codes for wiring. red- switched batt. +, yellow-constant batt. +, black= ground, blue- power anrenna, etc.

I TURN MY STEREO ON AND A MESSAGE APPEARS ON THE SCREEN THAT SAYS "PROTECT" AND IT POWERS DOWN. JVC MODEL NO. CA-HXD7 SYSTEM NO. HX-D7

OK this is the protection mode! There is a short circut! unplug and check all back speaker connections making sure no stray wires are touching metal or each other ! if this does not help the short is inside of unit and will have to be fixed by a pro!Please rate my answer and help keep this area FREE! Resistor identification

Hi fccjben;

The color code is as follows: blk = 0; brn =1; red = 2; orange = 3; yellow = 4; Green = 5: blue = 6; violet=7; Grey = 8; white = 9

Unfortunately, if it is wirewound, they usually printed the resistor value on the body of the resistor. For sure it shouldn't be glowing. Sorry I can't be more help, but without a schematid, can't do much else

How do i unlock my jvc shelf system

Look in user manual index for "unlock". It shoud have a default code there.

If not, plz provide the full product model #. It should be on a tag on the back or bottom of your unit.
