Gold star dehumidifier

digital button stuck on 70%, cannot adjust any of the buttons, only the on off button works. dehumidifier still works but is set on 70%. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Have 4 children all with asthma. The dehumidifier is a necessity in our home. Have tried to contact Gold star appliance to no avail. Website just gives you the run around. Any assistance would be most appreciated. it has only lasted right at a year, and has been emptied and filter cleaned daily, since i purchased it.
