It is very common that high eficiency, low water using dishwashers take longer to finish all cycles. The best way to "hurry" the washing is to make sure that the water heater is providing hot water of at least 120 degrees. But no hotter then 140 degrees.
If the dishwasher runs even longer, check to see is the dishwasher is actually connected to the cold water line. This dishwasher can be run from cold water but the water heating phase in the cycles will add much time ti the entire cycle.
This unit has a sensor that detects the detects the water clarity towards the end of the wash cycle. Rinsing the dishes may speed the load a little, but encourage not to go crazy on the rinsing because the dishwasher actually counts on the food particles to help clean the dishes.
Also, note that the final (third) blinking light means drying. You can simply open the door anytime after the final draining and power off the dishwasher, allowing the hot dishes to air dry.

-After paying an LG serviceman for a home visit, I told to refer to the manual-and there in small print-USE ONLY POWDER CLEANER. Gel and liquids make too much bubbles(thus air) in the hose producing the noise. It will take several washes-but the noise will go away!
On the LG LDF6810 dishwasher, the best you can do is remove the bottom spray arm and then the 10 phillips screws that hold the filter down.
Pull the filter out and clean it as best you can.
Inspect the sump area beneath where the filter was. Be careful of broken glass and remove all debris. Use a flashlight and look into every little spot down there. Reassemble the dishwasher and operate your DW.
If you still have problems, I recommend a service call. Check your manual to confirm but most LG dishwashers have a 1 year parts & labor plus a 2 year parts only. Have your proof of purchase ready.

Are you saying that the display that normally shows the time is displaying an code of 2H? On an LG, that means 2 Hours, (120 minutes) and is not an error code.
On an LG with a symptom like this, I would arrage to replace the main processor card (PCB). You would be getting an error message if the motor (wash or drain) had failed.
As I had the same problem, I worked on my machine and found out the heater unit was not working (it is a brand new machine ! - remark : as I moved overseas, LG did not cover it with their warranty).
But back to what I did : I ran the check program (instructions can be found in the Service Manual) and verified it was sending voltage to the heater on step 36. So I checked the heater unit (in the bottom of the machine) and found it was burned or open. So I ordered a new heater assembly ($40 on eBay), replaced it myself and am completely happy with the results.
Remarks : the heater is powerful enough to heat cold water to the temperatures required (I don't have hot water in the faucet); it seems that the heater also produces heat for the drying cycle (my dishes were completely wet at the end of the cycle before, now they get completely dry). My only disappointment, mentioned by some in the forum, is that the outlet during the drying cycle is in the bottom of the door, so steam condensates into droplets on the kitchen floor. But now I get clean dishes, and this machine is amazingly silent and efficient. Good luck to you !
Well done by resolving this problem. The other way to avoid the siphoning problem through the drain hose is adding an air gap valve/connector (available at any hardware store). You can use it even if you don't have a garbage disposal in your kitchen sink. That will assure that you have the proper height of the drain hose.
