Re: how do i change from spanish to english on my ps3
Hard Reset procedure for the PS3 (as instructed by Sony CS).
Be sure to backup your settings/games saves by doing a System > Backup on your PS3 or you may lose your game saves! Also, this is a last resort procedure prior to exchanging/returning to sony.
1. Power Off the PS3 via the power switch in back and power back on w/switch.
2. Hold Power Button on the Front until you hear 3 beeps.
3. Then go through the initial setup and then run a full Format via System > Format. (will take approx 3 1/1 hours). You may need to have our AV cables ready if your using HDMI (in case HDMI isn't detected after initial reset).
4. Restore your backup you made prior to doing factory/hard reset (optional, if you created a backup).

Easiest way is to take the battery out of the bottom of it and wait a few minutes, then put it back in.....You will lose all saved games and such and will have to go through the setup but will be back to english. Small phillips screw on bottom.....unscrew it, take panel off, remove battery, wait and reassemble.....Let me know if this helps....
Some DS games are only in one language, may it be French, Spanish or English. It's not all games, unfortunately, that have the ability to be multilingual.
In your case, it's a Spanish game which hasn't been translated to English. Therefore, changing the DS's language will have no effect on the game: it'll still be in Spanish whatever you do.
The only way to have the game in English is to have an English version of the game.
I have 3 solutions. 1. Find someone who speaks Spanish and have them help you shouldn't be too hard to find. 2. If you know somebody with a DS find out how to get to the language menu and mimic your steps on your DS. 3. Translate the words on iGoogle translator. These are some words to look for.
language settings : configuración de idioma
language : el idioma
settings : la configuración
english : Inglés
spanish : Español
Remove any disk and close the disk tray. Turn off your system and let it sit for a few seconds before turning it back on. Select the "Language" option from the main menu to open the language menu.
Move the cursor up using the directional pad on your controller until you get to "Language Select." Push the X button repeatedly until it lists "ENGLISH." This changes the audio settings from English to Spanish.
Scroll down to the "Subtitles" option in the language menu and change this setting to Spanish as well. The subtitles will appear in ENGLISH at the bottom of the screen every time a character in the game speaks. If you wish, you can skip this step and rely only on the audio settings.
Press the Circle button on your controller to move back to the main menu, which will save the settings. Select the correct time and date setting for your time zone, if the system asks you to do so. Push the Circle button again to access the main menu.
Place a PS2 game into your console and let the game load. You should now have ENGLISH, settings on your PS2, including subtitles.
hey this is krista
when you go to the options when you first open the game, you can go there and there will be a menu there, obviously someone has changed your settings to spanish and it needs to be in english.you can go there and just push over and it will change this has happened a lot to me! i hope i helped.
You might have a spanish version of the game but the only way to rule out that it is not your xbox console is to try it on a different console.
Best thing is to take the game into a store and ask them to check it.
This will confirm whether you have a Spanish game version PLUS they might be able to exchange this the correct one. If this isn't possible, take it back to where you originally bought it and exchange it with them.
