The first question would be do you have the proper amount of suction to make it work. You didn't say if you had a dedicated vac line or if you plug into the skimmer. Can you reach through the hole in the bottom and spin the turbine easily with your finger. It may have eaten a rock and is stuck. If so, loosen the one screw on the bottom, pull off that plate, and you will be able to see what is jamming the turbine. One last test is to hold one of the pods firmly and then trying to move the other pod. It should not move anymore that a quarter inch or so. If it moves freely you have a broken "A" frame that will need to be replaced.

It could be that you have improper water flow. Use the water flow gauge and adjust the flow if necessary. It could also be a steering failure. Check the pool cleaners rear screen and clean it if necessary. Make sure that the cone gear is free and rotates smoothly in both directions. You could also need to replace the gear box.

Hayward Navigator moves very very slowly. Pool Filter cartrage is clean & I have replaced the shoes, flippers, flaps & impeller bearings. Also tried different hose. Pressue on hose is about 12 to...

Make sure to keep the leaf canister and pump basket clear. Another thing to check is; make sure the screws that hold on the pods(the "flippers" on the sides) are Really tight. Those need to be cranked down pretty hard to ensure that they can move the cleaner along.

Getting plenty of pressure and no debri. The wings do not seem to be flapping so it is not moving forwa

You might need to replace the shoes or the wings. With these automatic pool cleaners, you often have to replace the wings. It is not a hard or expensive thing to do. You will just need to order the replacement parts from Hayward or an autorized dealer.

The Hayward Navigator pool sweep does not move. The pressure is 7.5, the suction seems to be okay, and the "flippers" move, but the pool sweep just sits there.

You may need to replace the pads on the flippers. You can get new 'feet' for your cleaner at any dealer . They just pull off and press on, They go on only one way so check the tabs before you press them on.

It wouldn't hurt to replace the pods (paddles). Also, the wings, flaps, A-frame, turbine, feet(shoes) and the gearbox. All of these things wear and should be done about every 12-18 months, as needed. Before you do any of this, though, try tightening the screw on the pod that's not working. These screws need to be very tight.

Hayward Navigator gets stuck at wall

I have had the same Navigator for many, many years. I have replaced it's guts, pods, feet and gears whenever things wear out. I have a vinyl pool and it works great. I had a problem with it charging into the wall and just sit there beating it's feet ..... now this was my solution, and I'm surprised that Navigator has not altered the design to deal with getting stuck against a wall. This will sound CRAZY but it works great!! Take a plastic lid for a 5 gallon bucket and cut out a round-nose for the front of your navigator. The curved shape is prefect and you can notch the plastic lid and it will snug right into the Navigator body. This gives your Navigator a round-nose and it will never get stuck against a wall again.

Hayward pool cleaner wont move

Make sure the feet have springs in place, move freely, and rubber not too worn. If that all looks ok, then probably too much suction pressure. Use gauge that came with unit to verify proper suction.
