I had a similar problem with Lexmark 3500 - 4500 series. I found that when Norton was disabled, the document printed. After soem further dicking around, I figures if you configure firewall setting to low, then docs print OK. Give it a whirl & see how you get on....worked for me. (I do think Lexmark are **** though.....!!!!)

Hi,

. If you have an empty PCI bus slot on the PC motherboard, you an install a PCI card which provides you 2 or 4 USB2.0 ports which are available at around $10. There are some combo cards which provide both USB and Firewire (1394 ports).

Possibly bad HDMI port or cable. Try a different port and cable.

CAN HDMI BE REPLACED?

Yes an HDMI port can be replaced, but more likely you will need to replace the entire board the HDMI resides on. Ports are typically just conductors, ie wires. It's probably not the conductors that are messed up, it's more likely the circuitry that decode the HDMI signal that is messed up. Check your cables and whatever you're trying to connect on another TV with HDMI (perhaps a friends if you don't have another TV with an HDMI port) and make sure your cables and cable box are both operational.

How do I get my high definition to work on my jvc television hd61z456

The manual that came with your TV has the procedure for setting up the options. If you mean How Do You get the HD working with an attached device (Player, etc) such as Computer; you need to attach an appropriate HD Cable with one end in the computer or DVD player, and the other end into a HD port on the TV. Follow the instructions on how to SWITCH from one TV HD port to another. The Player or Computer must be on and active when selecting a port on the TV or else nothing will be communicated.

HDMI slot is absent in this tv. How can I adapt it to handle HDMI?

Yes, the Panasonic PT-50LC13 has a DVI port. There are DVI to HDMI adapters to handle the conversion. You will need an HDMI F to DVI-D M adapter (like this: http://www.amazon.com/Importer520-Plated-Female-DVI-D-Adaptor/dp/B0035B4LJM/ref=pd_sim_e_1 ). Alternatively, get an HDMI to DVI-D video cable (both male ends) of the appropriate length. You will need a separate cable for the audio. Make sure that your source has a separate analog audio output available and plug that into the DVI audio input (RCA R/L). If your source has a only digital audio output and the HDMI port, you could use a digital-to-analog audio converter to provide this audio. For example, this would work: http://www.gefen.com/kvm/gtv-digaud-2-aaud.jsp?prod_id=5279 .

Please note this will not handle the signal from most computers. They send a different signal then the TV can handle. Copy protected content (DRM) may not be correctly translated by the TV. Most Blu-ray movies require HDCP compliant TVs and monitors.

I hope this helps.
