If you have security enabled then the passkey you typed is wrong, or you have told windows to repair the connection, this is the wrong thing to do as it changes the ip address, go to your network connections in control panel of whichever connection you are using go to the properties>TCP/IP laine>properties, then click the obtain an ip address automatically button and ok.

Close window, restart pc if necassary and try again.

Toshiba equium A210-17i wireles problems

Hi,
It doesnt sound like a problem with you laptop, rather its most likely to be the router.
People can edit the settings so that only their IP adress can connect.
If you can connect with limited connectivity, again its the router, not connecting properly.
Can you connect to any router? i take it you're not connection to your own XD

you might not getting proper connectivity from your internet service provider
so just check your internet connection setting then your computer's IP address configuration
if its working ok
then you have to ask your internet service provider for additional help and perticular settings

I upgraded my home computer from XP to Vista and now I can't connect to the internet through my Dlink Wlan AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-G132

The Dlink Wlan AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-G132 is not compatible with Vista. The drivers are only for 2000 and XP. There don't appear to be any Vista drivers anywhere on the internet for this card or the AR5005VL chipset the card is based upon.
