You did not state which laptop model you have. Here is a list of the most common key strokes or switches:

Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A Series ---- Button above the keyboard on top right
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D Series ---- Button above the keyboard on top right
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo K Series ---- Not Wireless
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L/EL Series ---- Fn / F1 to turn on/off

Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li Series ---- Easy launch button (one of 3) on top of keyboard

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Hardware switch on a amilo fujitsu laptop

On some of the Amilo Models, the Wi-Fi button is actually a key combination on the keyboard. Have a look for a key with the wireless symbol on it - looks a bit like an antenna, and hold Fn while you press that key. Your Wireless should come back on.

Fujitsu's can be odd, cause the hardware button (mentioned above) doesn't actually disable the driver in Windows, just turns it off so no connections appear.

We droped coffe over the keyboard most keys work but some dont

Wait for a couple of days to see if the functionality comes back. You will probably need to replace the keyboard though. They aren't too expensive - maybe $60-$80 (USD).

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Projector not working with fujitsu siemens amilo pro laptop

Try to see if there is a function key (F1 to F12) with a small icon that looks like a printer screen on your laptop's keyboard. It may be used with another key called Function or Fn (bottom left of your keyboard). So the combination of the key Fn (for example) with the F something can make the picture appear. On my laptop, it is Fn+F7.

Also, the definition of the screen is a factor. Some projector can accept only a definition like 600X800, or else. See the manual for that.

I've just bought a new laptop, a Siemens Amilo 2727/1 and i need to know what the function key combination is for turning on the wireless connection button. Thanks

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo but different model but am sure keys will be similar if not the same. Try using FN and F2 keys at the same time once the laptop has booted up. If that doesnt work it will be FN and then along the top keys look for one that appears to have two ariel masts (looks a bit like umbrellas). You probably have to do this everytime that you switch your lappie on.

Good luck. If it works can you rate me so that other people realise it is a solution or at least it pointed you in the right direction. J
