The air condition is a ge model no. agm24dtm1 and the compreeser is not working

Ge ptac unit shuts off after 30 seconds.


You have to try resetting the system. First turn the breaker off for the condenser and wait about 20 seconds. After you turn it back on the system should reset.

Replaced pc board on condensor model cmh1822 the condser fan runs but the compresser will not start


dear sir /madam
i think there is still connection problem please make sure all connection is connect well and all cable is connected and check compressor capacitor is good condition . and check all thermostat and temperature setting after that try you air con unit i hope it will work .
if it,s not work after use all this method if your air con not work please contact to your service technician for further action.

Water is leaking inside the house


The drain that should be carrying the condensate water outside is stopped up. Compressed air works well to clear the drain.

If you are talking about the indoor fan it is probably a bad capacitor. Replace the fan motor capacitor. And YES, if the fan motor needs replacing too, you can DO-IT-YOURSELF.

My air condition is working but the fan is not turnig


fan has to turn for system to function properly turn off breaker see if fan turns if not bearings are shot if it does maybe fan motor bad or wiring issue! Good Luck!!!

Noisy much more than laast summer


It sounds like the condenser coils are dirty. This is the coils that are located on the outside. You can use compressed air or a sprayer on a water hose to rinse them. Window units need to be serviced just like split systems. Make sure you don't use a real high pressure so you don't bend the fins.

Air condition won't work


THE CLICKING SOUND IS A RELAY PULLING IN ITS LIKE A SWITCH CONNECTING TWO WIRES. THIS IS A GOOD SOUND BUT IS USALLY FOLLOWED BY SOMETHING COMING ON FAN ETC... CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR UNIT HAS AN LED LIGHT ON IT AND HOW MANY TIMES IF ANY DOES IT BLINK?
