Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T1 Digital Camera

Sony DSC-T1 white colors become purple

Hi,
I have Sony DSC-T1 for 4 years. Today, when I took pictures all very bright white color is seen as pink purposle (like over exposure). Any suggestions how to solve this.

    I have the same camera and the same problem, I got my camera in 2004 too. Light/white colored objects or people turn pink when I use flash, just suddenly one day. No image distortion. I really love this camera. Please help.

    same problem here with a ~3 year old mode. suddenly photos are all over-exposed. works fine in movie-mode, though.

Pictures are pink

It is problem of bad CCD Imager in DSC-T1 and that part would be replaced for correct live view to take picture.
Sony would repair DSC-T1 in bad CCD Imager problem for Free of Cost.

Perform 2 actions in camera menu.
1- Initialize camera to adjust exposure.
2- white balance adjustment.

Bright pictures


Hi Jake,
You might just have the camera on the wrong settings. Try finding out from the instructions how to adjust the exposure control. It should be set to 0.0 for normal photography. It sounds like it is set to make the pictures brighter than the required exposure. Hope this fixes it. Cheers,
