I'm considering to expand memory from 128 (64+64) to 256.
Manual says that 256 is max and 128MB is biggest allowed memoryunit.
Has anyone tried what really happens if you use 256MB so-dimm ?
One guy is selling a 256MB so-dimm and says that it'll work fine in tecra8k.

Hmmm, is that the p2-366 machine? If so, you may be able to run a
256mb in it. I'd buy locally and return if it doesn't work. Start
with the most recent bios; upgrading the bios if you don't have a
floppy can be done, but it isn't fun.
