Question about VCRs
Sound and picture come on good and within 5-10 seconds the set shuts off. I can restart and the same thing continuously happens.
As I told you, when the tv main chip detects a problem, it force the TV in protected mode, and activates an internal safety switch to
turn tv off.
This is why TV goes off in ten seconds.
when this happens TV must be taken apart and inside component tested and eventually replaced.
The technician will test the inside of your TV starting from the power supply board.
If you want to do it yourself you will need experience in testing and precision soldering, otherwise call a repairman using the phone number listed in the user manual.
