HOW ERASE I need erase all information in my GOGEAR how i do?

Connect your player to your PC. Open Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer, and select the player on the left panel (the device will display as Player or GoGear, depending on the device you have). Once the contents of the player are listed, you can delete content you don't want.

do u have computer system? use the windows explorer do this, if u have system. but if u don't when u a on each music files se;ect option and delete them one by one.

Erase Messages
Single Messages
You can erase a message itself, leaving the Caller ID information.
• While the message is playing, press and release DELETE. The unit erases the current message and announces, "Message erased."
All Messages
You can also erase all the old messages only, leaving the new messages and Caller ID information.
While the unit is in ready-to-answer mode, press and hold DELETE until the unit announces, "Messages erased."
• New messages can not be erased in this way. To erase new messages, play them then press DELETE during play back.

Update the firmware, but it will erase all your songs in the process, so they will have to be reloaded.

Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

Use Windows Media Player to delete the videos - may have to select "video" instead of "music" mode first.

If this fails, reformatting the GoGear in Windows Media Player will erase EVERYTHING including music off the player so you can start from scratch.

Disconnect the GoGear from computer.
Turn the GoGear off.
Hold in the volume + button.
Reconnect the GoGear while holding in the volume + button.
Continue holding the volume + button.
After 5-50 seconds, Windows will pop-up a "Found New Hardware Wizard." - complete the wizard (BTW, you can take your hand ff the volume + button now).

You will need to reformat the GoGear in Windows Media Player, but do a firmware upgrade first - open the Philips Device Manager and click on the Update tab. Then click the update button. After the firmware upgrade is done, open windows Media Player.
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your GoGear to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Philips Go Gear SAXXX" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and make your player properly read in Windows Media Player.
