I fix the red doubling by adjusting the red screen screw now the people are greenish. can someone help me. pt-56wx53g

Hi, To reset TV unplug for 1 hour. If this does not work try menu settings and change the color.
Also in settings set color to (cold) this may fix it. Good luck.

Projection TV sets have two very common problems listed below.

Problem #1) Convergence


These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.

They should be adjusted to set voltages. however it is best to shut the color level to the lowest setting then try t balance the screens to achieve the best black and white picture. then turn up your color level. Your brightness level should also be set to 50 % then when you adjust for the best B&W picture. You will have better color and brightness when you reset your color and brightness levels.
