Question about Kodak EasyShare C743 Digital Camera
All electronic devices will drain from the batteries connected, but overnight is ridiculous.
What are the features you want?
Do you want a point and shoot camera that fits in your shirt pocket or one that needs a carrying case?
I recommend a point and shoot for everyday picture taking, stay away from the non-standard cameras. Sony (R) is notorius for making proprietary devices that ONLY work with Sony. Which means that you have to pay more for Sony's proprietary converters to get it to work with your computer.
Purchase something with a not so large screen, to keep max. battery life. Also find a camera with a view finder. It may seem a little awkward having your face at your camera while taking photos, but we all did it prior to digital cams.
Search search search, until you find something you like and more importantly... can afford.
