It indicates that the sensor is not working properly . It indicates that there is some obstacles in lens that why it is getting locked up .
So if you are able to unscrew and see whether sensor is working properly .
If you cant find any problem with the sensor then your problem is complicated .
So no other choice you need to contact the fujipix company to solve it .

Thanks for using Fixya .

Blow compressed air in the gaps around the lens barrels with the idea of blowing out any sand or grit that may be in there jamming the lens. You can also blow with a hair dryer in “no heat” setting, or sucking the gaps with a vacuum

Gently tap the padded/rubber usb cover on a hard surface with the intent of dislodging any particles that may be jamming the lens.

HI,

First try normally reseting your camera by removing the batteries and mem.card for 2 min and then insert them back and turn it on.

Next try compressed air.turn off the camera blow air between the lens turret
and the camera body. It should remove all dust and sand. Turn the
    camera on.

IF you still face the problem try these steps:

Try forcing the camera lens.Turn off the camera. Place it on the back
with the lens facing up and take a look at the spacing between the lens
    and the lens housing.

    If you notice
that the gap is not even all the way around the lens, the problem
should be easy to fix. This type of a problem usually occurs if the
camera was dropped while the lens was extended.

    Simply - VERY
GENTLY - press down the lens on the side where the gap is the biggest.
You should hear a "click" as it pops back into place. Try powering the
    camera back on.

Tap the padded USB cover part on a hard surface, for example, a desk. It sounds so simple, but very often in works.

The last thing you can do is switch to a 2500 mAh Nickel Metal
Hydride rechargeable batteries you may notice a difference. It gives the
camera with zoom mechanism more power than what actually is required.

Even after trying these steps if you still face the problem then the problem is a blocked lens mechanism which will require a physical presence of a tech to fix the problem.

Dear sir,

this happens when the clearance for the lense mechanism to open and close is being insufficient due to -small bits of sand or lint that may become get trapped in the mechanism which is commom while taking photos in open dust spaces.

It is advised to take the camera to a camera repair shop and have it disassembled and cleaned,if delayed the problem gets complicated....

Lost cradle for Casio Exilim (6.0 Mega Pixels digital camera EX - S600) Can't re-charge or convert photo's from camera to computer anymore.

I always use a card reader ( very cheap e-bay) & you can also buy a seperate battery charger ( again very cheap )
remove battery and charge is more practical / smaller and lighter esp on hols

Lens of camera is not being open properly, so it gives "access" message. Try this trick, while puching power up button, tapp the lens or pull upward. Please don't give much force as it can be damaged easily.
