You do not have to use the cd.

Shutdown your PC. Unplug the power from the router and the cable modem.
Wait 30 sec. then plug in the power to the cable modem, wait 30 sec. then plug the power to the router. Wait till you have "Internet" light then restart your PC. The PC should pick up an IP address and you should be able to get on-line. This is if you have a cable service provider. If you have DSL, the router needs to be configured with PPOe.

If you need the manual, go to
www.dlink.com

and search for your model.

Can i setup the belkin f7d4302 as a wireless bridge

belkin does not support this. The only way you can do it is by running a cable to the router to extend your wireless signal around the house. I did a similar setup with a powerline network adapter if running a cat5 cable is not a option. just make sure you change the main ip address for the 2nd router to like 192.168.2.2 and disable dhcp since the main router will handle dhcp. also make sure the wireless settings are the same and channel is different if 1st router is channel 1 then use channel 6 or 11 for the 2nd router.

I dont have the easy install disc

You dont need disc to configure...To access Belkin's web based setup page type 192.168.2.1 on the address bar of the browser.
By default there is no password set for the router and you just simply click submit button to log on to router setup page
Click on Internet WAN and select the connection type you want.
Wireless name (SSID) is the name of your wireless network. The most recommended wireless channel is 6. You can use wireless channel 1 and 11 to and scan for the network
