2000 tacoma flashers don't work but turn sig do work!

The hazard switch gets power from the horn fuse which is hot all the time, and from the turn signal fuse which is hot when the key switch is on. The turn signal switch gets power from the hazard switch and both use the same flasher.
So if the turn signals work but the hazard switch does not power the lights, and both fuses have power, I would say the problem is inside the hazard switch.

How do i fix my blinkers on my 1971 f100 ford ?

There is a flasher unit for the turn signals, separate from the hazard flasher, that is under the dash. If the fuse for the turns is good, and you already know the bulbs are good since the hazards work, then you may have a bad turn signal switch.
When you use the turn switch, do the bulbs come on and stay on, or nothing? If they come on and don't blink, then it's probably a bad turn flasher unit. If they don't come on at all, suspect a bad turn signal switch. But first check the fuses, then pull off the connector to the turn switch and see if you have one hot wire there, with key on. That one hot wire will be from the fuse.

About your 1992 Buick Park Avenue 3.8L SFI OHV 6cyl. the Flasher is located:
Hazard flasher: Front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted above kick panel

Turn signal: Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted on support bracket

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

I have a 1995 chevy cavalier and the turn signals just stay on and don't blink. I have changed the flasher and the multi function switch and still no luck

First, is it doing it on BOTH isdes or just on one side? Example: turn signnals flash OK when turning left, but only come on and stay on when turning right. If it is doing this, then you most likely have either a blown bulb or a bad bulb socket on the side that is not flashing. You need to check both the FRONT and REAR bulbs to make sure they are all functioning properly.
If it is doing it on BOTH sides, then you either have a bad flasher, or at least 2 bulbs burned out (one or more on each side).

Are you sure you replaced the correct flasher? The flasher for the HAZZARD lights is plugged into the convinience center under the left side of the dash. If this is the flasher you replaced, it is the wrong one.
The turn signal flasher is mounted to the driver's knee bolster bar near the steering column. It is held to the bar with a clip. (see diagram)

Sounds like your flasher relay is broken. A lot of people think that because their hazard flashers work that everything is OK, this isn't so. Hazard flashers are on a seperate system, and as such they have their own relay.
You will need to find where your indicator relay is located and replace it with the correct type.

I don't know where the signal light flasher is located the signal lights don't flash

Your vehicle has 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The turn signal flasher relay is located on the drivers side, under the dash, mounted on the drivers (Left) side of the steering column. The hazard flasher is mounted on top of the steering column. Do not get them mixed up.

No turn signals they come on but don't flash

It's probably the turn signal flasher. It is usually located under the dash along with the hazard light flasher. If you don't know what it looks like, then go to a parts store and look at a new one. Once you have located one, then remove it. Try the hazard flashers. If they work, then replace that flasher with a new one. If they don't, then reinstall that flasher and look for another one like it. When you find one, replace it with the new flasher and try the turn signals. (remember : the key must be on for the turn signals to operate). I hope this information helps you and thank you for using Fixya.com.

Turn signals dont work on 1993 skylark. all bulbs are good. hazard lights blink fine. turnsignal dash light stays green and doesnt blink

There are 2 separate flasher relays. 1 for the turn signals and one for the hazards. I believe you have a bad flasher relay for the turn signals. The location of that is in the front seating area on the drivers side, under the dash on the drivers side of the steering column, mounted on support bracket. I provided a picture of what it should kind of look like although the picture I gave you is an aftermarket one so the color and such may be a little different but will look the same. Don't get it mixed up with the hazard relay which is located in the front seating area on the drivers side under the dash above the kick pane lmounted on top of the convenience. I am almost 100 percent sure the flasher and hazard relay are the same so if you want to just swap them out in order to have turn signals that should work. You won't have hazards however. I hope this helps you and good luck.
