A 730 digital camera pink GE

It sounds like you've had an incredible run of coincidental luck. Although this problem does happen, it doesn't happen that often. Could it be that it has gotten sat on, even while in a camera case? (I'm stating the obvious) They cannot be flexed too much. The lcd panel on the back is quite hardy, but the connection is a little more sensitive. Sorry I didn't have a definitive answer for you.

Have a Sony DSC-W120 digital camera that got wet and has quit working.

Well some people believe that if u put ur wet camara without the battery the on (uncooked) rice for 24 hours all the water left in it will leave the camara for good.

Battery warming up the camara

Was your camera working before you put the new battery? if yes, then its possible some dirt or grit has got stuck between the lens and the body and therefore you motor might be warming up.

Since you 've bought a new battery, I dont think It may not be the battery, the way you are explaining. It could be the lens motor itself, since its warming up.

Try to do the following: ( I 've got this checklist from the forum itself)

Remove the batteries from the camera, wait a few minutes. Put a fully charged batteries back in and turn the camera on. if it doesnot work then,

2: Remove the batteries again, as also remove the memory card. Then install the newly charged batteries, when you turn it on it should come back to life.
3: Insert the cameras Audio/Video (AV) cable, and turn the camera on. Inserting this cable ensures that the camera's LCD screen remains off during the start process. Thus extra battery power is available to the camera's lens motor during start up. This extra power can be useful to overcome any grit or sand particles that may be jamming the lens.
4: Place the camera flat on its back on a table, pointed at the ceiling. Press and hold the shutter button down, and at the same time press the power-on button. The idea is that the camera will try to autofocus while the lens is extending, hopefully seating the lens barrel guide pins in their slots.
5: Blow compressed air in the gaps around the lens barrels with the idea of blowing out any sand or grit that may be in there jamming the lens. Other variations include blowing with a hair dryer in “no heat” setting, or sucking the gaps with a vacuum
6: Repeatedly tap the padded/rubber usb cover with the intent of dislodging any particles that may be jamming the lens. Other variations include hitting a side of the camera against the palm of your hand.

Try the above and let me if its any help.
Best of luck

Digital camara and memory card

Basically picture files in memory card have corrupt data that's why computer doesn't recognize it.
HP recommends following action...
Close the HP Image Zone or HP Photosmart Software, disconnect the camera from the computer, and reset the camera. (can see this at HP Support)
2nd option is to find some memory card data recovery software on internet and use it to correct data files in memory card.
Thank you.

I gave the lense part of the camara a moderate slap, and the camara has worked fine since. looks like a lot of people have the same problem. Most of the people call it black screen problem. the shutter gets stuck. Tap it a few times on the side of the lense part of the camara moving it from bright to dark objects back and forth.
good luck.

Camara wont power up

I have a similar problem where the product stopped working and froze. No buttons worked, replaced batteries seveal times.

Spoke to Hp Customer service where they stated buy another camera??? It was out of warranty for about 2 months.

So I bought a Kodak camera with great customer support and will never buy another HP Product again.

My problem was solved!
