How can i fix my psp when it doesnt turn on? - Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

It could be a number of things. 1. When you don't play your psp for awhile the battery dies. So try plugging it in. 2. If you have ran any online downloaded program recently you could have the bricker virus. Witch you would have to send it to sony to be fixed. 3.Try removing your memory stick and battery then turn it on with the power adapter plugged in.

the most likely cause is that your battery is fried and cannot hold a charge. i know that the psp slims are a fairly old model and this is a highly likely possibility so i recomend purchasing a new battery from the sony store or from Sony's website

My psp did the same thing. 1. Turn off psp. 2. Hold down R trigger while turning psp back on. This should take you to the M33 Recovery Menu. 3. Go to "Configuration" press X then go down to "Use VshMenu" press X so that it is Disabled. This should fix it. Go up to back then down to exit. Batteries lose their capability to charge to their highest capacity after each charge. I would reccomend a new battery.

You bricked your PSP. Now you will need to get a pandora battery and then Custom Firmware your psp or just Official Firmware.

Please mention after switching on the PSP power LED turns on or not? ================================================= Suppose without connecting the charger when you power on your PSP you will see green light and you will get sound clear with no display at all and after 1 min: PSP will turn off automatically. then 99% it means that your PSP is bricked.
