Pioneer CDj 200 repair

Hi, i read your article entitled "Generic problem for all CD Players" and I am in the same predicament. What i would like to find out are the particular stores there in Australia that i have to buy the replacement parts from or if wether they can simply be bought at a general electronics store or hardware.
Thanks

SOURCE: CDJ 200 without electricity fuse blow off?

no you cannot do that , the device works on 120v( 117v around me) , but it cannot be changed like that , you would need a trans former that breaks down the voltage to 120v
changing the fuse will not change the circuitry in the device

SOURCE: pioneer cdj 200 wont read discs

Hi, try cleaning the lens with a cleansing disk. if this doesn't produce results, it will confirm a major issue within the lens assembly. you will need to replace the lens assembly in this case. it is unable to track or read in this damaged sate.

99% laser module is faulty.
if u try to push your cd and it returning it or your cd stuck inside and it stating no disk, find a new laser and replace it.

You need to be a bit more specific. It might be a formatting issue, in which case, you need to convert your music that's on your cds. The songs must be in "CBR or Constant Bit Rate" format. Most songs come in Variable Bit Rate format, which the 200's aren't able to play. Get a music converting application, I've used dbPoweramp's converter for quite some time, had to buy an MP3 license, but it was worth it. Unlimited conversions = more fun with the tables :) good luck!

Hi,

There is no other option than cleaning.
The player must be taken apart to clean those knobs and housing.

Kind regards,
