Hello,
You need to press and hold down the Resume button (the red button) for at least 5 seconds with the cartridges installed. Then the printing will continue and the ink level monitor will be turned off. Hope this helps

Canon mx330 how to change ink cartridges

Use the thumb drill to literally drill a hole into the side of the old cartridge. Make sure to chose a location that's closer to the top of the ink cartridge to avoid over spillage when you add the new ink. Once you have the hole just squeeze in some ink of corresponding color into the hole. Not a huge amount, but enough to get some use out of it before the next refill. I highly recommend covering the hole afterward with a sticker or something so that you don't dry out the cartride. Reinsert the cartridge into the printer and use. (: All set!

*Note: You may have to reset the count on the cartridge to avoid getting messages that the ink need to be changed. From here on in, use your eyes to determine if the cartridge needs a refill (:

Why will my canon pixma mp250 not reset a refilled color cartridge

i dont think you where trying the right solutions. the mp250 catridge 511 can not be reset as far as i know. what you can do to get it to print is to long press the reset button. this disables the ink level check function and you can work. the procedure you stated is usually for resetting the ink absorber, not catridges.

Good Luck!

How can I override the ink level on my MP250 printer after I refill the cartridge?

Sadly there is no way to reset the ink level once a cartridge has been refilled. However your printer will continue to let you print until it believes the ink cartridge is physically empty. Once it reaches this point printing will stop and you will receive an error message asking for a prompt from you. To bypass this message simple hold down the resume button for 5 seconds and printing will continue.

More information on the resume button and continuing to print can be found here: http://www.refreshcartridges.co.uk/igloo/the-infamous-canon-resumestopreset-button/

My Canon PIXMA MP250 Inkjet isnt working?

Hi,
Does the printer power up?If not, check the power cable or probably replace it.
If it does power up,disconnect everything including the usb connections and also turn off your PC.
Wait a while and then re-connect them all.Start the PC first and then turn on the printer.
Now try printing. If still cant print:-
  • You might have run out of ink.Check the cartridges and replace any dry ones.
  • Check for paper jams on the paper paths and manually remove any stuck papers.

Hope this helps.Thanks!

I refilled the ink cartridges on my canon mp250 printer. Now the ink lights will not quit flashing and I am unable to print anything. I tried resetting according to instructions provided by canon and it...

Hi,

How much time you have done refilling a same cartridge? You shouldn't refill a same cartridge more than three times. Make sure that the cartridges are OK. May be the head of the cartridges are not in good condition. You may need to replace cartridge. Check that you have installed the cartridges properly or reinstall it. Align the cartridges. If it doesn't solve your problem then you have to replace the cartridges. Using original cartridge always is recommended.

I refilled the black ink cartridge, and when I put it back in the printer, the printer says ERROR 13 meaning the ink level cannot be detected. Its essentially a brand new cartridge. What do I do? Ive tried...

It is not possible to refill the original Canon cartridges. The ink level indicator is integrated in the chip on the cartridge. When refilling, the information on the chip will not be changed and keeps giving the info that the cartridge is empty.

I bought a Canon Pixma MP250 about a month ago. Is it normal for the color ink to already be gone? The orange indicator light for the color ink is lit.

color ink is like water... it just goes... ink is the most expensive liquid on planet earth... even more expensive than oil from the middle east... so if you are using it... it will go pretty fast... your best bet is to try and get some high capacity cartridges...
