Re: Cannot change my Mitsubishi WS-55615 to switch from...
The NetCommand® menu can change devices sometimes you may have an old setting in there for an old device you can also add a new one for yours. Might be worth a try.Make sure your input device is also set to 1080i in its own settings.
• Make sure the selected device is turned on. • From the Edit NetCommand® menu select Review setting. Verify that the inputs are actually connected to the TV. If they are not, either change the physical connections on the back panel, or select the Change setting on the Edit NetCommand menu to change the TV NetCommand's settings for the connection.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Sometimes the control panel switches on the front of the set go bad.
Try running your fingers across the buttons to see if it helps.
I ended up disconneting the front panel switch board and just use the remote now.
Take out the batteries or simply reprogram the remote by using the manual search function on the remote. There is probably a couple of different settings in the remote for this type of TV set, Good Luck
