The KX-TGA470 handset works with several models of Panasonic cordless phone base units. Press Menu and then press #. Next press 1 0 1 . (Alternatively use the arrow keys to navigate to find Initial Settings and then Set date and time after pressing Menu.) If you need to change the date, type in the date as three sets of two digit numbers (month, day and year). Then press OK. Next type in the time. Press OK and then select AM/PM with the arrow keys if you are using 12-hour time. Finally chose Save followed by Off.
When the it is blinking the phone is resetting. There are several reasons for this. Once the blinking stops and Date & Time appear, your phone should be operational again. Check the buttons for programming by using Feature *0 and pressing any button to verify it is programmed. If not you might have a bad phone. Try swapping phones with a working one of the same type. This will tell you if your phone or port are in trouble by where the trouble goes.
Try setting the contrast level by pressing the Feature button and *7, then enter a number from 1 to 9 for the contast level. Depending on the model number of the telephone system your phones are connected to, you may need to press the Hold button to save the setting.
C'mon. Seriously. Have you heard of Google? Go to Google, and type in, meridian m7310 phone setting time date. Too hard? Here's a link then: http://www.alphatelecom.ca/norstar_date_time_program.htm Still too hard? Then it's, 1. feature **8463 (as in "time") 2. password 23646 (as in "admin") 3. hit "change" or "next" and change time components as needed until it displays "end of list" 4. hit "rls" button
Sounds like there might be a software issue.Did you try power cycling the system for about 10-15 sec. to see if that corrects itsself?
Also when you enter programming, what does the first sreen say a. configuration or terminals and sets?
the console takes its time from the clock in the system .its the system time that is incorrect and needs modification in overlay 2.this can occur when moving from summer time to winter time and daylight savings not setup in your system.
This is due to the base unit losing power and needs the clock resetting. The handsets retain their clocks under battery power so this is a little misleading.
To reset the base unit clock: - press the OK key - press the 'down' arrow twice until "DATE/TIME" is displayed. - press the OK key again, this will display the year. Enter the correct year on the handset numeric keypad and then press OK. (Only the last two digits of the year need to be entered). - The date is then displayed in MM/YY format, enter the correct date on the handset numeric keypad and then press OK. - The time is then displayed, enter rhe correct time on the handset numeric keypad and press OK. - The handset then beeps and displays "SAVED". - Press the "C" button and replace the handset on the base unit.
