I see you are trying to fix the seal on your Frigidaire chest freezer. Are you having an issue with your freezer not closing? If so, have you verified that there is nothing blocking the door from closing as well as making sure there was nothing between the door gasket and the freezer body? The numbers are generic and don't mean a thing. They are there to make you feel like you have control. Anything under 1 should be very much frozen. If it is not then you have T-stat problem and should address that. Chest freezers run at -25f on average if the freezer has enough product in it. The more food in the freezer the better and more efficiently it will run.

Hello dotty26 - The door gasket should be securely closing with no resistance. You may try lubricating the door gasket with petroleum jelly to make it easier to open as well.

Find the model number which is usually on the back , and call appliance part places .

might sound stupid but take the cover off the compressor electrics and make sure no plastic is overheating.

its either at the top back of freezer or lower sides
