Press the small button on the xbox 360 console then press the big X button on the center of the controller. Will make the controller and console pair up and work.

How I fix the xbox 360 controller blinking and sync light problem, when the sync button doesnt work?

Yes, this can be tricky sometimes.

Be close to your console when synching your controllers. As always make sure the controller is on.
You will need to press both the synch button on the console and on the controller approximately the same time. If you have done this correctly. The controllers should have synched to the console in a few seconds.

Here is a link to show you how to do it for the Xbox 360.

Connect controller to your Xbox 360

To synch a Xbox One Controller go to link below here.

Connect wireless Xbox One controller to your console

Also just in case the light is flashing the and the controller is already synched, that means the battery is low and you need to change it out for new batteries.

Hope this has helped and good luck.

Contoller will not connect to console as directed in manual. Button on x box does not make green lights flash on console to connect with wireless controller

If you press the the small white sink button on your
console and the the lights don't go around in a circle
then the RF / Power button board is defective .
The name of the part goes by the name R.O.L.

They are cheap and easy to install ( plug and play)

Contoller wont conect to x box 360 and lights just flash with new batteries

Have you tried re-syncing the controller to the Xbox 360?

Press the small button right beside the expansion port located on the front of the controller. Then press the button located to the right of the memory expansion ports on the Xbox 360 console. This should re-sync your controller.

Hope this helps,
Bill

My xbox has three red flashing lights, how can I get it working again?

My sons Xbox had the 3 red lights! It depends what colour of light is showing on your power pack the colour indicates what the problem is! The light will either be red, amber or green, my sons light was amber and that was due to a faulty power pack, Microsoft were very obliging and replaced the power pack free of charge,it arrived in 3 working days! Here is a link that will take you through the different lights and how to fix the problem!

All four lights in the ring are red and flashing, the power light is green and not flashing.

the 4 red rings means that the av cable on your xbox cant be be detected, try to unplug it from the xbox and plug it back in. if that doesnt work if you have another xbox try hooking it up to that one, to see if you might have a bad cable. or try cleaning the metal part of the cable with a dry cloth. if nothing works i would do 1 of 2 things. 1. get a new av cable for the xbox, or 2 trying and get a replacement from microsoft.

X box controller

There's a little button on the front of your 360 and the same button is on the front of the controller. You hit the button on the 360 and the green lights around the power button start to circle. Then you hit it on your controller and the green lights around the xbox guide button start to circle. In a second or two they'll find each other and both will flash at the same time, and it's synced up. I think there's a little symbol of air waves next to the button.
