Hi,
You can not change the font and resolution through the monitor. For that Please Right click on desktop, Go to properties and click on. A separate window appears called Display Properties. There you can see the Themes, Desktop, Screen Saver, Appearance and Settings. To change the Desktop background click on Desktop and change the background. To change the font, click on Appearance and change some settings there. To change the image or to broaden the images click on Settings and change screen resolution. Thats it. After changing any of the settings you need to you need to click Apply which is present in the bottom right corner of the display settings. Then click ok.

Thank you.....

Remember how desktop looked like in XP with 800x600 resolution? Everything was big - fonts, icons, browser, documents... Now have Win7 with 1920x1080 resolution. It used to be fine, then another user

Everywhere? If you change DPI, you change the appearance of everything everywhere. (The Home edition of Windows 7 does not contain "Personalize.") Only a change in DPI will affect the appearance of everything.

But without changing DPI, you can do the following.
Right click on a blank area on the desktop and choose screen resolution. Click Make text and other items larger or smaller. You have some choices in the radio buttons or you can try a custom setting. These won't affect images but will affect icon and text appearance size.

Here are a few other things you can tinker with to get a view you like.

1) In the procedure you have described, when you get to ITEM,, choose more of the selection from the drop down list, then reboot.
OR, 2) Click on an open area in a web page. Hold the Control button down, roll the scroll wheel atop your mouse. 3) in the RUN box of Windows 7, type cttune and hit enter. Walk through this ClearTypeTuner procedure and you can at least have an easy go at adjusting readability to your liking. If you change your mind, you can always change the settings back. It does allow you to see how the font would look. --I have not mentioned the Magnifier option...

In brief, your monitor probably came with its best resolution set up. But you can use the "tricks" above to alter the appearance of sizes. You just may find readability diminishes.

How do I change the print size in everything that appears ont the computer

That will depend on what operating system you are using. Typically, you have to change the default font size in each application, including the file viewer ("Finder" in Mac OS, "My Computer" in Windows). For example, in a Mac OS X Finder window, you would click the arrow next to the gear icon and select "Show View Options" from the bottom of the pop-up menu. This will give you a font size selector along with other options. Another example more typical of individual applications is the Firefox Preferences menu ("Tools" in Windows). Here you would click the Content tab to bring up the default font selection.
Sometimes changing screen resolution affects the apparent font size - going to a lower resolution makes the fonts look larger. (If a character occupied a 20x40 space at 1280 x 960 resolution, that same space at 640 x 480 will look twice as large.) This will not hold for all applications; many automatically rescale fonts when the resolution is changed.
You can also use Universal Access to zoom in on the screen with

My font size is too small

There are a few different ways you may be able to increase font size. One is, if you have a "zoom" button on your keyboard with + and -, you may be able to use this by itself or by pressing "Ctrl" simultainiously with it. Another way is if you have a tool icon, upper right of your screen, may look like a gear, click on that and see if you have a zoom option there. You can also adjust you DPI, by clicking "start", lower left of screen, then on "control panel". In your list(icon), find and right click on "personalization". At the upper left of screen you will see "adjust DPI..". Click on that and you will see "larger DPI" amd a custom DPI tab. You can click on the box for larger DPI or can custom adjust your size by clicking the tab. Pick the size you want and click on apply, then restart system. Using the zoom you can adjust up or down at will, changing the DPI will increase size but, the only way to adjust will be to coinside with the zoom or by physically going back to personalization and changing it.

Change size of fomts

There are a couple of different ways to do this. If you have a "zoom" button on your keyboard with +(larger) and -(smaller) you can use that, you may have to hols down "Alt" for this to work. If you have a tools icon, might look like a gear, at the top right of your screen, click on that, and if you see "zoom", click on that and choose your font size. You can also try clicking on "start" at the lower left of your screen, then on "control panel". In your list(icons), find "personalization" right click on, and open. At the top left of screen, you will see "adjust font size(DPI). Click on that and you will see "larger font size" with an empty white circle on the left. Click on the empty circle, then restart for it to take effect. You can also do a custom DPI in that same window. Make sure you restart after each change of font size. If you figured out your zoom, you can adjust font size whenever you want.

Increase my font size

You did not specify your operating system.
For Windows XP
Go into your Control Panel by first clicking on the Start Button.
Then click on the Control Panel icon located in the right column of the Start Menu.
If your Start Menu is set to the Classic View, then begin by clicking on the Start Button.
Then click on Settings, then click on the Control Panel icon to open up the Control Panel.
Now, Double click on the Display icon to open up the Display Properties Window.
Then click on the Appearance tab at the top of the screen.
At the bottom left side of the screen you will see an area to change the Font Size:
Use your mouse to switch between normal, large and extra large according to your preference.
Then click on the OK button to save your changes and exit Display Properties window.
Windows XP will immediately adjust to your new Font Size without restarting your system.
Then close the Control Panel to return back to your Windows Session.
