No bluetooth devices detected om my laptop

Your hard drive may be faulty, this is why the Windows operating system not found.
Go into the BIOS and see if the hard drive is detected, if not reseat the hard drive and boot up again.
If the Windows operating system not found then most likely the hard drive is faulty and to get the Notebook working again, replace the hard drive, install Windows on the new hard drive plus the Compaq Presario 1692 device drivers and your programs.

download the bluetooth driver from the compaq website - double click the folder and run the program from the desktop and then go to device manager and choose update driver

If you are not able to connect or configure the Bluetooth then please check the steps and the link below which will help you to connect it properly.

1. Click Start , click Control Panel .
2. Click Switch to Classic View and click Bluetooth Configuration .

• If the message Bluetooth device not found is displayed, your PC does not have a bluetooth device.

Try to use the auto detect feature on the HP website to install the correct driver.

Hi, You have not mentioned what exact problem you are facing. Either it is not detecting other devices or its not working. Let me try to give you a general solution. If you have a motherboard CD try uninstalling the driver of the bluetooth and reinstall it. Then it will work

Hold down the FN Key + F6 (OR the corresponding F key for the touchpad)

The B1900 can have its touch pad turned on and off.

Its a good feature when you just want to use an external mouse.
