Question about AT&T Cell Phones

Open Question

LG AT&T SKU 64675 Display

The display is a plain blue screen and the phone has limited functionality. It rang but I couldn't answer. I can hear the shutter sound when I take a picture and I can hear the "whoosh" when it powers on & off. I pulled the battery for several minutes and it made no difference. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: White screen on Motorola RAZR

I use to work for Cingular Wireless and this happened often. Try opening and closing the handset a little forcefully. It should re-seat the screen onto the contacts. If that doesnt help, have it replaced since its new. Best of Luck.

SOURCE: no picture is displaying

First try to check by pressing the keypad and fix whrther phone is booted. Else we have to try by s/w or hardware like ( UI Module has to be checked. Regds Bejoy/senthil 9901816888/9945084338

SOURCE: black screens razr v3

Hi, Same problem as others are having. Check the Sep 30th solution that I submitted regarding opening the phone and sqweezing just to the left of the camera lens between the vol up/down and the lens The ribbon cable comes loose in that area, this technique usually restores operation to normal. Good luck.

I dropped my LG GT350 phone, it can be switched on and fully function, but the touch screen display is not showing. It can still be pressed and a dim blue back-light is on but nothing can be seen

The LCD screen may have been damanged, visit your celphone technician or phone provider to have it checked depending on the impact of how hard you dropped it, touch screen phones are very sensitive if you dropped it really bad the technitian may have to replace the screen.

All seems to be working fine except that when the call comes the answer button which used to display as green gets greyed out and does not lets you answer the call. I have tried upgrading the software as well as a factory reset bit it has not helped. C
Can somebody advise how/if it can be fixed?

My nokia 6111 screen goes blank

It is not a common problem. It seems that either the connection to the LCD is broken somewhere, or the LCD is going or the display IC has gone. It it is the last (display IC) then the phone has to be thrown away as even Nokia thinks it beyond economic repairs. Earlier two can be rectified by Nokia Care.

Fax problem

Hi Fatimo25,
The screen on your fax machine displays how the machine is set to receive calls. TEL MODE means the machine will not auto-answer incomming calls and will operate as a normal telephone device, it will still however be able to send a fax in this setting.
Place your message on the original tray and pick up the handset, dial the number and when the distant machine answers press the start key or ask for their fax machine and when you hear the high pitched fax tone press start.
There is a button on the panel that will allow you to change the reception mode of your machine to the other settings.
Your machine is of a model that doesn't come into this country so I have no manuals to forward you. You can try however to access the SHARP web site www.sharp.ae
Hope this helps you
regards
Gavin
