Twitter Verification Problems

According to Twitter it finished the Verification, but I'm having problems getting updates on my phone.

How can I know if my cell phone is verified?

    I get a verification code to send to 40404...I send it and nothing happens...then when i try to delete and start over it still shows the same screen, only an error message pops up at the top saying it can't find a device to delete...i try refreshing the page but the phone number and verification code remain there even after i repeatedly click "delete and start over" and refresh...i don't want to have to reboot my computer after i click delete and start over, especially if i have to keep clicking that button until i get a verification code that works...or is my sprint diamond touch phone just not compatible?

You can check if your phone is verified like this –

When you add your phone to Twitter you get a verification code.
After the code is sent to Twitter refresh the page, if the code is still there your phone isn't verified.

Check if your phone is compatible with Twitter.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How can i verify my account on twitter?

Twitter currently closed verification to the public. Twitter's public beta version of account verification is no longer available.

They have removed their public-facing verification request form. In the meantime, they're still verifying some trusted sources, such as their advertisers and partners. If you're one of their partners or advertisers, you need to follow up with your account manager for details.

Hello, I am having a heck of a time trying to add my RAZR V3 to my Twitter account so I can send tweets via text message from it. The problem is, is that when I try to verify my phone number w/Twitter by...

the dashes mean nothing. Are you sure your entering the right code? If your last phone also had the same carrier and setup and etc and its not working now then that is a very odd and unique problem; u should call in and ask. otherwise try using another code or using their long codes or something from this website http://support.twitter.com/entries/14226-how-to-find-your-twitter-short-long-code http://support.twitter.com/articles/87284-how-to-tweet-with-your-phone-if-your-carrier-is-not-listed

How to text on twitter

Dear Sir,

plz folow this step to solve your problem,

I'm assuming you have unlimited texting or some sort of texting plan.

1. Log in to Twitter
2. In the upper right hand navigation bar, click Settings
3. Click the third settings tab, Devices
4. Add your phone number number, with country code first (+1 is the US country code; a US phone number would look like this: +14153368687 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting +14153368687 end_of_the_skype_highlighting)
5. Wait for the verification code to pop up
6. Text the verification code to Twitter using the number given in the devices page. US residents should always see 40404- if you see another number, you might've added the number in the wrong format.

Send text message updates to Twitter using these numbers:

* US: 40404
* Canada: 21212
* UK, Vodafone subscribers only: 86444
* Germany: +49 17 6888 50505
* Sweden: +46 737 494222 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting +46 737 494222 end_of_the_skype_highlighting
* India: 5566511 (note: this short code is still in beta, so if you can't use it, try our international number below.)
* All other countries: +44 762 4801423 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting +44 762 4801423 end_of_the_skype_highlighting Source(s): http://help.twitter.com/forums/59008/ent… Thanks For Your Time,

Can't verify phone because phone isn't verified.

Sent 'Start', receiving - "Sorry, your phone is not verified..."

If you receive a message that says 'Sorry, your phone is not verified. Please verify the phone before receiving Tweets" from us, it may be because your phone is in a 'half-verified state'. Now, what's that?

If you visit the 'Mobile' tab on Settings page of your account, you will see that the verification code is still displayed on the page, unlike what the Mobile page should actually display. We currently do not provide this method of adding the device. Click on the 'Delete and Start over' button found on the page to remove the phone from your account. Then send 'start' to the appropriate Twitter number and you will be able to add your phone. Please however, make sure that you check all the Twitter accounts that you own.
