Hi. i have toyota matrix 2005 model and i installed xo vision XO1945 dvd player in my car. Now I having problem with player, when i paly radio, CD, DVD or any thing it change tracks by it self and it also...

if im correct, you had/have steering wheel controls....correct. if im correct then you might have tapped into these wires. some of them will give a 12v reference, in actuality they are to give the factory radio an ohm reading telling it what to adjust. my best advice is to retrace all your install wires to confirm that they are all correct wires needed to connect to. then if not it will deffinately have to take a visit to the manufacturer, hope this helps!

Need to bypass 06 Infinity factory dvd player to watch dvd while in drive

If your system is tied to the parking brake, check and see (Technical Manual) if the parking brake works at 5 volts instead of 12. Usually this is the case. If so you will need to locate that wire and cut it. (May void warrranty) Next you will need to get a voltage regulator from Radio Shack, This will require some soldering. Solder per the instructions to a switch. Make sure the switch is in the off position and start the car. When you get the splash screen flip the switch. The DVD player will see the 5 volts as the parking brake being engaged and allow it to be viewed.

An alternative would be to again, follow the wire, cut it, put one end to the chasis and a switch. Again make sure the switch is off and turn the car on. When the DVD player starts, flip the switch. This only works if your system is designed to see the wire as being grounded and then not.

You can not simply attach the wire to the chasis and go from there. You can test this be starting the DVD player, disconnecting the wire and connecting it again to the chasis. If the DVD plater starts, you have found your solution and only need a switch.

Car stereo model Nikkai A39FQ. Memory does not work when ignition is switched off, so everything has to be reset. Any advice?

if you remove your head unit, you will need to switch the red and yellow wires around! different cars have different modules. yellow will then be constant 12v source! let me know how u get on, i have the same unit!

Dvd player sayin not able to function while car is moving when only ignition on and not holding memory

You unit I am guessing is an in-dash unit that someone else installed. You can't legally watch a DVD in-dash while your vehicle is in motion, only when you are at a dead stop with the e-break set. As for it not holding memory, it sounds like your wiring needs to be checked and at worst your electrical system is having problems. I recommend that you take your car to a local car audio shop and have them test your wiring, you can ask them about the re-wire for DVD active while you are there.
