You have not set the port on the back of the projector settings.

Go into the projector menu and go into the IMAGE area. Somewhere in here you should be able to select computer.

SOURCE: epson powerlite s4 projector is pink

I assume this is an LCD. I don't remember the s4 being a DLP projector.

This sounds like the LCD panel used for the red color has gone out. The image is made up of red, green and blue images layered upon the screen. If the red panel has gone out then there is nothing filtering out the red light in the image. This causes a nice red hue to the whole screen.

It could be a simple open and reconnect fix. I personally have never opened a projector, so I'm not going to walk you through it as I do not know how hard it would be to tinker with. It should eb a cheap fix for a true repair man though.

SOURCE: My Epson Powerlite 5350 has a ghost image. Any

I've got the same problem on two Epson EMP7300.
I believe (from reading about other projectors) that the ghost image can be adjusted with RS232 codes.
Does anyone know how to do this?

check and clean all of your filters. Use compressed air to clean out the dust from the projector and filters. This might take care of the problem.

Epson powerlite 200 overheating after 20 minutes of use then shuts off.

How's the filter, if it has one - cleaned out recently? Much dust in the airways? Tried setting it into "high altitude" (or simply "high fan speed") mode and seeing if that helps?

I changed the bulb on my epson powerlite 83+ and now there is a blurry spot in the middle of my screen. Is there anyway to fix this?

For anyone that may still stumble on this post, we have two of these and the blurry spot is most likely caused by the neutral density filter in front of the Green LCD element. We still haven't found a source for this part, but it seems to be caused when the bulb overheats and melts the plastic filter causing it to warp and wrinkle.

Epson PowerLite 410W projector (used for a smart board in a classroom) won't project anything or even turn on. Power button (maybe lamp indicator light? I don't really know anything about this...)...

It seems you assume that it is not an overheating problem.
The problem is, the bulb gets really, really hot when using the projector. It doesn't matter whether it has been there without any usage. As you switch it on, it will start to get hot.
But the lamp or other parts of the projector should not get too hot. To control the temperature, air is moved through the projector with the help of fans. Air enters through air filters and move through the projector absorbing heat from hot parts. This prevents these parts from getting overheated.
But what if air doesn't flow freely? Then the parts CAN get overheated.
First, switch on the projector and check whether you can hear the fans working.
Next, switch off the projector and remove power cable.
After about 30 minutes, remove the cover and check whether the air filters are blocked. If they are, clean them with a small brush.
This would probably solve your problem.

After it being on for 5-10 minutes, just shuts off manually. Already cleaned it out and replaced bulb. Now what?

It sounds like it is overheating. Check to make sure the cooling fan is coming on when you power it up. Please respond with your findings for further help in troubleshooting.

The temperature sensor light is flashing on PowerLite Home Cinema 1080. How do I reset the temperature sensor without sending it to be reparied by an authorized Epson company.

Fist thing you need to do is check all the filters.
Take them out and use a vacuum cleaner on a gentle **** to clean out the dust.
Use the brush attachment also go around the projector and de dust all the grills.

One of our Epson PowerLite projectors was working

We found that the bulb was dim because it was about to burn out. The projector's filter han't been kept clean, causing it to run hot, which in turn shortened the bulb's life.
