Question about Dell Computers & Internet
The sound on my Dell computer won't work on both the speakers and headphones. (It was working until about a week ago.) We've tried uninstalling and reinstalling soundblaster. We also tried moving the soundcard to different slots. Nothing helped. If we go into the sound options under control panel, we are unable to select or change anything. It shows no devices. Any suggestions?
Go to Control Panel and go to sound and audio devices. It should have the name of the speakers you are using. If it doesnt then the speakers might not work on that PC. Get a new set of speakers, and try again. It should work on the new ones. If it doesnt, get it checked at PC World or a PC repair store to get it checked, as the problem will be internal in the PC. Hope it works.
