   • hi
     i am not sure what is going on..i do wish somebody could help. as there doesn't seem to be a phone number to contact for help.,..it seems pretty useless contacting via email if i cannot access my account.
     i have registered the problem and have left my mobile number...just in case.
     i am signing in today with my usual username/email and password, and i am being told that my username is invalid. what has happened here? could somebody have got into my account somehow? i have signed up a new address...but i need to get to my old one and soon, i do hope somebody can help. i am pulling my hair out here...as i can't seem to find anyone to TALK to about it. ARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

     I try to sign in and keep on getting:
     "There was a problem accessing your account. Please try again in a moment.Error #1"

   • I am having the same problem. It started all of a sudden last week. I can sign in and I see my name above the mailbox but when I click the mailbox then it says that the page cannot be displayed. I contacted yahoo and they sent me a list of things to try. First they asked me if I am sure I am connected etc. But I know for sure that this a problem with the yahoo e-mail and not with my computer, I am getting the same message from whatever computer I tried and my husband;s yahoo email is working fine on all our computers. In any case I have tried all their suggestions and afterwards I replied that nothing has changed. Then I got a message asking me to send screen shots, and do it from my yahoo email (that is a joke since I cannot get in). I send it via the yahoo mobile address. Ever since I keep getting autoconfirmation mails and the same suggestions over and over again, but no other answer so far. It is really frustrating!!! If anybody was able to reach somebody that helped them get back to their email, please let me know because everything I tried through the "HELP" service has been in vain.

    • error codes 5 and 15, sometimes when I try to read a mail, delete a mail, save photos to computer, or just go the the next 25 emails. Happens all the time. Cant get emails check, may soon be bouncing email cause i cant get them read and deleted fast enough...

    • I am using windows vista everytime I try to log into my yahoo account several screens up asking me to keep signing in. Also, I will get a screen that has an url address but that url address is valid. When I first got this computer I could log in and now can't, has been like this for a few months and I'm tired of using someone elses computer to get into my mail. Please help

    • When I login from the web client, which has never been a problem, it goes to this URL - https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_ver... - but brings up a blank page. I also notice my iPhone cannot send from this account suddenly, although it managed to get mail. What's going on?

    • I try to log into my Yahoo mail on Firefox AND Internet Explorer and I just get a blank white screen after I submit my screen name and password. It's been happening off and on for MONTHS and I am getting SICK OF IT!

    • I haven't been able to get into my yahoo mail, open messages, delete messages, move them to another folder, reply, - extremely frustrating. This has been goin on for at least a month. I have yahoo premium and I'm thinking of asking for a refund. Its not the computer because I have tried other computers and its not the browser because I have tried different browsers. I have attempted to send them messages - sometimes that didn't even work. Here is a yahoo customer service number if you would like to try to call: 1-866-562-7219

    • I have the same problem as TaraGra. It is extremely frustrating because it always says Sorry for the Inconvenience and everything I click in my mail produces the same message (Error Code 17).

    • Trying to get to email - error 17. If I get in and try to read it - same thing. If I actually get to try to reply, I get error 15. So annoying! Yahoo email hasn't really worked properly since 3/13.

    • I have many of the same problems listed....very often I can not even access my yahoo mail. It will give me that dreaded page that tells you it is a temporary problem & it offers solutions (i.e. refreshing, signing out & back in) but none of the solutions work. I get all kinds of error messages and blank pages when I try to read emails or send emails. You can "TELL CUSTOMER SERVICE" about your problem but all you ever get in return is a standard response sent to everyone who has problems. I have sent Yahoo at least 35-50 emails asking for help but I never receive any help. In response to the people who say this is a free service, then maybe they should not offer a free service if they can't make it work. Where Yahoo used to be my favorite email provider, they are now at the very bottom of my list.

    • Apparently associated with the "maintenance" my password no longer functions in Yahoo Mail. This is day 3 without access. You send them an intermal message and all you get back is an automated response - try again in 24 hours

    • Everytime I try to login the screen just resets blank. It is so frustrating! I was able to fix it the other day, but it's not working again. Somebody said it's linked to Norton. I bet their right. I have all kinds of problems from that program. I don't know what's worse - virus' or Norton!

    • I am having all kinds of problems. Was able to get in but once I logged out cannot log in. Was able to log in using my work computer but not my home computer. Unable to open attachments either. This is not good!

    • Since AT&T took over Yahoo mail, always a problem reading my e-mails. Can't open my mail, server shuts down, errors. etc. Downloading is made difficult because after downloading the mail won't open up. Big mistake AT&T, and Yahoo.

    • I am able to see that I have new mail from the homepage, however, when I attempt to open it indicates I am receiving Error Code 2. I can log into another yahoo account that I have, but not the one I am having problems with!?!?!! This leads me to believe that someone (EX) that has tried to comprimise the account has now been successful.

    • My mail keeps going back to the page asking for the password, or gives me an error message. It takes hours to get a dozen emails. I use classic, so it's not that. I tried disabling Norton, that didn't help. The same thing happens at work, so it's not my PC at all. Yahoo doesn't seem to care at all. Is there anything else to try????

    • Typically I too have same problem. It all started 6th Feb 2009. Can't compose a new email, or reply, can't search, go to the address book, or forward email, or even open options. Nothing will load once clicked on.
      
      
      Have been in contact with the Yahoo Help Desk (for 2 weeks) but none of there troubleshooting steps are working, and now they are repeating what they originally told me - its like a stuck record. 
      
      
      My Pro account works fine on my computer, its just my main personal account that isn't working. So have done a runner to Gmail - where funnily enough I can actually compose and send new emails! Oh the joy!

I also tried to register a new Yahoo email account and that didn't work either - it just sent me back to the anonymous home page. Something is definately up with Yahoo mail !
