Question about Radio Communications

1 Answer

Programming scanner I am a total beginner with the emphasis on the word total. Brand new. I have a new scanner with the book and all but I am finding it difficult to type in a frequency and getting it back and scanning the local frequencies. I have the cd and all but they dont seem to correlate to the actual frequencies that I come across on the scanner. Hoping you can help.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

where you want to store a frequency, then press
Func and Pgm. The channel number appears.
2. Use the number keys and to enter the
frequency (including the decimal point) you want
to store.

Scanners

They all program different ways... What model # and brand? Usually you have to find a memory location, then press a key, the frequency and enter. This again depends on the model/brand.
