It depends if you have the connections already there. If not then you can make a tee branch from the hot and cold pipes running to your kitchen sink. Then solder 2 15mm branch pipes. this will now be your hot and cold feeds to your machine. At the end of the branches attatch a washing machine valve (red for hot, blue for cold. You can now attach the hoses from the machine to the valves you have just fitted. Really easy

Can having the water inlet pipe be restricted if its screwed on too tight.

Not usually; it is normally connected with a washer machine connecting hose similar to a garden water hose. However, it may have a strainer gasket in the connection between the house plumbing and the inlet of the hose. shut off the valve and disconnect the hose from the house side of the plumbing and check for crud in the strainer gasket if it is so equipped.

Where is the plumbing U-bend of my admiral top load washer ? Thank you

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France, The plumbing U-bend is not IN your washer but is the pipe into which the washer's drain hose feeds- part of the house plumbing. Sorry I did not make it clear in my previous response to you. If you require further info there is no need to raise another problem ticket, just reply to this one ;-0)

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Water coming out of hose at home plumbing

Hello.Maybe the drain is sounds like your machine is working ok to me,if you can hang the hose over the edge of a laundry tub & make sure the plug is out,see if the water drains away, otherwise it sounds like a plumbing problem not the started only after you moved houses so more likely the plumbing.hope i helped.

We have a Whirlpool awm8143 model front loader. works fine

this could signify that you have the outlet hose to far down the outlet pipe of the machine, or if you have it plumbed in to the plumbing under the sink you could have dirty sink water flowing back into the machine

My bosch nexxt wont drain and flashes e04 checked imoeller and cant find any clogs impeller spins freeley

The 03 error code is the drain. Disconnect the drain hoses and check for blockages. If no blockage "time" the drain interval. If it's more than 6 minutes it's the pump. Also make sure you're using the correct type of soap so the ball check valve on the bottom of the outer drum isn't getting fouled with excessive suds. Also disconnect the drain hose from your house plumbing and let it free flow on it's own. This will tell you if the block is in your plumbing, and not in the machine. Assuming that your filter is clean.

Model WTW5200SQ0 Whirlpool washing machine: Is it normal for the hot water to fill much slower than the cold water? I know there is no plumbing issues, for all the plumbing was replaced last year and there...

If you had plumbing work done there may be detritus that has accumulated in the screen-type filter either at the inlet valve of your machine or at either end of your connection hose.
Remove the hose and check both ends as well as the connection on the machine; If you find 'stuff' clogging the screens, an old toothbrush can be helpful.
If you find nothing of the sort, the inlet valve may be failing. These are cheap pieces of junk and not expensive or difficult to replace when needed.

LG WM2233HW washer plumbing rattle.

Hello Justin,
What you are hearing is what they refer to as "Water Hammer'.. and aside from the noise.. it probably won't do much damage however home improvement stores such as Home Deot and Lowes sell add on devices that are installed onto your supply lines to absorb the shock when water is cycled on and off... You'll need to tell them exactly what size pipe you have and ( depending on how familiar you are with plumbing) you may want to hire a plumber to install.. They may have a water hammer add on that fits onto the screw on water lines.. Hope this helps..
