when the computer enter the sleep mode, it is possible that the computer remove the check mark from this output activation.
When you have multiple ouptut like a internal LCD and output on a monitor, when going into sleep then waked up, laptop reactivate the internal LCD without reactivated the secondary monitor.
you could need to go in desktop property and reactivate the secondary monitor with the check mark listed : Activate.
If you only have one monitor but still a dual output card or two separate video card same thing can happend. try to connect the monitor on the second VGA or HDMI output and see if the video goes there.
then reactivate your secondary output and make it principal.
Does also happend when your computer is connected to a UPS power and your monitor is directly on the sector. (laptop issu also)
if a brief power outage arrive then the monitor shut down (no power) and the computer continu, as there is no monitor on the output any more Windows will automatically deactivate this monitor. when power goes back, this output is no longuer providing video. I suggest putting the monitor on a UPS as well.
You seem to have a corrupt display card. Is it on board or do you have a separate graphics card installed in your PC. Either way on restart graphics processor is not turning on. What does the Power and HDD indicator on the PC show during boot up. You could also have damaged the Hard Disk because of your abrupt shutdowns. You can open the side cover and try disconnecting the HDD power (Yellow, Black & Red ) cable and IDE ( 40 pin flat ribbon wire ) cable and try restarting. If your monitor starts up and shows BIOS page you have a faulty HDD. Also see if the processor fan is a working when you start the PC. If not you have a failed mother board. Are you getting the boot up RAM beep. If not before you do any of the above mentioned things Just pull out the RAM ( with PC unplugged ) and reinsert into the slot. It might get your PC working after all
Yes it's possible. I'm assuming you'd like to use the keyboard amp as a "monitor". In which case, take a 1/4inch TS (instrument cable) jack out of "Aux Send" into the input of your keyboard amp. Make sure the keyboard amp is turned up to a good level and that the Master SEND is turned up on the Desk.
Now you can make your own "monitor mix" for on stage use without effecting the F.O.H mix by turning up the aux pot (knob) on each channel you use.
You can use the CTRL ROOM output also, but make sure it's not giving a "Powered Output" from the internal amplifier in the mixer as you will damage the keyboard amp.
If your server came up without key board and monitor on last boot, you wont get anything by connecting monitor.
you have reboot the server by making user, input device=keyboard and output device=monitor
you can see this value by using eeprom command from os
you set this value
The fact that the monitor, keyboard and mouse don't work points towards a bad motherboard. If you can hear fan's running, see lights on the front of your PC then you are getting power to the motherboard.
Hi, your quite right that the original Fenton software doesn't work with and in XP. Since the reason for the software is simply to monitor certain conditions of the UPS and timer auto shutdown then running the computer plugged to the UPS even without the software would still make the UPS work. Of course this will only hold true if you are using the PC like a regular unit and not as an unattended computer.
More information maybe gleamed from their website (http://www.fentonups.com/Support___Service/H___S_FAQ_s/h___s_faq_s.html#Operating-Systems).
Hope this be of some help to you and pls post again how things turn up.
