Hi and welcome to FixYa!
If the waste ink pad is nearly full you will need to have it replaced or reset the purge counter to get rid of the message. Please be informed that even the message is resetted theres a tendency that the inkpad will overflow and you may find spill at the bottom of the printer.
Thanks for using FixYa. Open the cover, move the cartridges to the centre, and then press the pad of absorbent paper towel onto the waste ink pads. You can locate the waste ink pads to the right of the cartridges. This will absorb a lot of ink in the pads and that will remove the warning after you reset the printer waste ink tank counter. To reset your Printer please tell me the model number of your Unit so that I can provide you with model specific information. Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance. Thanks Rylee
