Screen distortion 3 inches of the left side of my screen all the way down has a redish pinkish haze help?

If your TV looks 3D, warped, or distorted it likely has a convergenge problem.

hello my name is rico, i work on tvs sometimes. The model of tv you have is very common bad light engine, because you mention there is yellow haze on lower left corner, if you need more help please feel free to call me anytime, i live in mesa az at 602-810-7149. And is not worth to get fix because the L.E. will cost you between $500.00-1000.00.

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

When an LCD starts getting pinkish to redish hues, the screen is starting to fail. You are in the biggining stages of losing the screen. There is no repair....only replacement.

What needs to happen is three specific voltages need to be adjusted on the power supply, You need to set the Ve voltage to 100v, the Vset voltage to 188V and the Vs voltage to 190v. Monitor the set for 24 hours, if haze doesn't come back the unit is considered repaired. If haze returns, then the problem is with the panel itself and wouldn't be worth it to replace because it will cost more than the tv cost you originally
