Vizio tv My new Vizio TV keeps shuts itself off approx 1 hour after it's turned on. I turn it back on then it work fine.

i have the same problem with my new 42" 3D Vizio (a few months old). It's happened ever since i've had it. Just like u said... turns off automatically within about an hour of turning it on (regardless of the time of day). I also have to wait a few seconds before i can turn it back on. then it won't happen again til the next time i turn it off/on. very annoying. it used to happen sporadically, but now it happens once every day. i have the same problem with my new 42" 3D Vizio (a few months old). I have the same model as you. 42", 3D, Vizio. Had it about 3 months now. There is no order or consistency with it. Sometimes, it'll be on for hours all day long, then another time, it was on maybe an hour. I am sure it has something to do with heating up, power consumption, etc, but it seems like a flaw.
