Question about Dell 1710n Laser Printer
The Dell 1710 Printer we have prints 2/3 of the page and then stops with about 2 inches sticking out past the back rollers. What are the steps to troubleshoot these to determine the problem? How do I test to see if it is the fusers, sensors, drum roll, etc.? Thanks.
If it jams every time while printing only 1 page and stops just past the exit of the fuser unit, it is most likely that there is a problem with the paper exit sensor on the fuser unit. We have many of the 1700N printers and have seen several times that the paper exit sensor actuator arm gets broken off when removing a paper jam.
